Harris-Benedict Equations (1)

Male: Calories/day = Factor x [66.47 + 13.75 x weight (kg) + 5 x height (cm) - 6.76 x age (yrs)]

Female: Calories/day = Factor x [655.1 + 9.56 x weight (kg) + 1.85 x height (cm) - 4.68 x age (yrs)]

Mifflin-St Jeor Equations (2)

Male: Calories/day = Factor x 5 + 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (yrs)]

Female: Calories/day = Factor x [ -161 + 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (yrs)]
