Slide Adjustment
« on: February 07, 2021, 03:46:02 PM »
I'll start by saying I've read every post that had the words slide adjustment and went through the Service Provider List.  I didn't get much from either so, I post the question.

The driver side front slide is a bit out of adjustment.  When inside looking at the slide the top left side is about 3/4" away from the wall the bottom half is tight.  The entire right side is tight.  Thankfully it's not leaking but there is a lot of cold air coming through.  We have some backer rod keeping out the cold, it helps but not perfect.

There is no way I'm up to tackling this I just don't know where to get it fixed.  We full time and and go just about anywhere at any time.  My gut tells me BAC with that said we'll be in AZ and UT through the end of April.  Any assistance would be most welcome.

Off topic quick question:  When in the wind (15mph) is it normal for the same slide to bounce around like a mechanical bull?

I'm not a slide expert, but I know someone who is; Call Mark or Eric at Elite RV in Harrisburg Or.

I'm sure someone will recommend Beaver Coach Sales (BCS) in Bend Or. There are one or more shops in Bend that can probably help, also.

Mark,
I've had good luck with Luxury RVs in Mesa, AZ. They were the local Beaver dealer until Monaco sold the brand, so they know the coach. They've never done slide work for me but rest of their work has been good. Service # is 888-404-3999

Wow.... wish someone could recommend a great place for slide adjustment in Missouri. Both my front and rear slides need adjustments for tighter seals.
