Battery Charge vs Echo-Charger
« on: July 17, 2011, 04:39:27 PM »
I have an Echo-charger hooked up to a series of 6 - 6 volt deep cell house batteries and a 12 volt 8D starting battery.

We are in hot Kansas (above 100 degrees last 10 days) and we're hooked up to 50 Amp service.  I have checked the batteries a couple time this past week with the following readings:

8D:  13.09 to 13.13 v
6 - 6 v:  13.43

There have been no changes.  Our heart interface is set up for wet cell above 80 degrees.  I have checked ground, connections to battery, and fuses and all seem to be okay.

From what I remember from past checks, the two sets of batteries had never been further than .10 difference.

Is there any reason to worry about this?

Chuck,

You have no problems. Your voltages are exactly where they should be.

Thank you Gerald!  With the hot weather I wanted to ensure I wasn't missing something and the manuals we have don't explain/show much.  Really appreciate you being here to help us uninformed.  Chuck
