C12 Fuel Pressure Check Valve location

I have an 'Ask Dave' question.

Dave, in trying to locate the Pressure Check Valve on my C12 to update to the latest version (281-2725 Valve GP) and o-rings.

I can not find it on the filter housing or locate it on the fuel port mounted on the side of the head.
 
The fuel distribution port (part # 104-1730, pic attached), has a Bleedvalve, a pressure test port, a line to the primary filter, and the tank return.  But without external access to the Pressure Check Valve.

Is the check valve inside the housing prior to the Tank return connection?

Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Good morning Bill, the location of the check valve is located on the bottom side if the secondary fuel
Fuel filter base. If you do not have a secondary remote filter the secondary fuel filter should be located
on the engine. Yes a Caterpillar C-12 has a fuel manifold along side of engine and location of check
Valve will be on manifold. Think There is a picture on Ask Dave showing secondary filter base and check
