« on: August 02, 2022, 11:10:51 PM »
hi everyone,
this weeks question, left outside upper corner of the coach, I removed a broken bracket it appears to be what is left of an antenna..
I checked the wiring diagrams, and believe it is for a phone. can anybody verify that for me
thanks

Our coach has one CB antenna on the roof near the front; two over-the-air TV antennas on the roof, one front and one back; and one satellite dish on the roof near the front.  And I think the Cobra CB came installed on the coach from Monaco.  It's probably a CB antenna.

Tom,
Could also be for a CB installed by PO. Remove dash panel in front of driver seat and you should be able to tell as cable probably was run up left front windshield pillar. Otherwise you'll see CB antenna cable coiled up in dash cavity.

Tom,

I have to agree on the CB antenna.  Mine had one there which I removed and used the hole for a truckers cell boosting antenna.  The bracket on mine was heavy duty stainless and was very securely attached. The trucker antenna has a spring on it and has worked out well.  You might consider leaving it even if you don't plan on using it for anything.  It is easy to keep water proof and you don't have to patch it and paint it to match.

Tom
Your owners manual should have a diagram of the roof layout.  If not look at the wiring diagram on the 2007 PT in the library.  There is a page for just this.
