Aladdin screen
« on: March 02, 2023, 09:06:43 PM »
I am having difficulty reading the screen on my Aladdin system. The pixels are not displaying the info clearly and very difficult to read. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Was hoping for a response on how to repair or find another screen monitor to replace. The sensors appear to be working and the reported info appears to be correct but the sparse pixels on the screen make it practically unreadable.

I entered "aladdin screen replac" into the Forum's search function and it returned several candidates to read.  This is just one of the candidates.  It appears to have your information.

Fred, try consulting with M&M Electronics:

On some devices such issues are commonly just a "dirty" zebra strip where electronics connect to screens.  Lightly wiping the strip with alcohol can often be the simple correction.  But that applies to LED devices, and I believe the Aladdin screen is more like a TV with pixels;  there may be no zebra strip as such.  M&M should be able to help, as I think they've dealt with Aladdins before.
