Alladin System / Backup camera
« on: May 18, 2023, 03:28:42 PM »
Left California and rear camera was not operational. I turned off/on several times and finally got it to work.
As soon as I shut down power for the night it would not operate again nor when we resumed trip the next day.
The rear camera does work when I'm backing up but does operate when driving down the road.

Any ideas where to begin my search.
Rear camera works fine while backing up only  -  grey screen while driving forward.

Quoting from your post:

"The rear camera does work when I'm backing up but does operate when driving down the road."

When does the camera not work?

The rear camera in the past always functioned while I was driving. I was able to watch my tow vehicle while in "Drive" travelling down the road.
It now only works when transmission is in "Reverse".

This may or may not be obvious, but is the Aladdin’s “Select Video Source” screen set correctly?  May it have inadvertently been set for one of the Auxiliary options, whether they exist or not?
