replacing front DS/PS slide out cylinders 2006 monterey

The cylinders can be rebuilt as shown in the video below but if the extension rod is rusted it is cheaper to replace the cylinder

Hi John - having the same issue with driver slide on my 2006 Monterey.  How did you get the cylinder out to repair/replace?  I'm trying to make sure I'm approaching this the right way and you're the only person I can find with my exact coach/year.  As I'm sure you found, half of the cylinder is tucked above the water tank and between my 2 air tanks.  How did you get to it and did you take the hydraulic line off at that point or pulled out with it?  Feel free to email or call me, too.  I can really use help now.
