Onan part
« on: November 16, 2011, 06:26:59 AM »
I'm wanting to buy a spare belt for my Onan generator. Its an 8000 QD, part # 511-0235. Does anyone have a cross reference for that belt at NAPA/WIX etc.

Onan/Cummins price was under $11 but I am not near one of their dealers. Just looking to buy local but cant find any alternate part numbers.

Thanks in advance if you can help

A NAPA store should have a cross reference book (or computer program) that will cross it for you.

Tx, Robert. The NAPA store I went to did not have a cross reference, hence my question here to see what others might know.

Ken,

I go to the dayco website first, a belt manufacturer.  If they do not know, call Cummins Onan for the part number to cross reference.  It may be listed on the owners manual, available on the web.

Good luck
