Dim Headlight Fix Instructions
« on: December 17, 2012, 07:02:17 PM »
To assist in installing the Dim Headlight fix as shown in the Roy Mueller / Bill Sprague video, there is now a document defining the step by step instructions and schematic . Tim just posted it to the Coach Assist section of the website.

I am not finding the document.  Do you have a link?

Thanks

Randy, go to the main BAC website (not this Forum website), and Coach Assist is on the drop-down menu under the "Member Services" tab, just below the word "CLUB" in the page masthead.

Tim, Roy, and Bill and all that may have helped. Very nice job on the documentation and video. It is much appreciated to those of us needing more light for almost everything we do now :-)

I wrote it up because I couldn't remember the instructions long enough to perform them and got tired of constantly "rewinding" the video. :)

Steve, sorry I did not pass credit along where it was due. The written instructions help a lot given none of us can probably use crimps and d**es as fast as Roy can.....he must have been Wyatt Earp in a past life :-)

When I did the video I learned the editing software had an adjustable "speed up" feature.  I used it gently enough to keep you from catching it in most places.  But, it is obvious in one or two clips. Roy was pretty quick, but I made him quicker!

If you have any interest in making videos from smartphone clips to camcorder clips, you'll have a lot of fun with Adobe Premier Elements 11.  It ranges in price from $50 to $100.   Right now it is on promotion in a bundle with Photoshop Elements for $100 on Amazon.  Getting Premier and Photoshop for $50 each is very good.  They run on both Macs and PCs, do amazing things and are a lot of fun to learn.  (Use the BAC portal to Amazon!)
