Comfort Control

William Mathews:
The comfort controller in ths living room has stopped working. Yesterday it was working fine and I shut it off as we were going about 300 miles down the road. When got set up again, the controller wouldn't work. The mode button will only show OFF, COOL, and FAN. The controller in the bedroom works just fine It is a five button controller and should show OFF, COOL, HEAT PUMP, FURNACE/AQUA HOT and FAN. Appreciate any help. Bill M  2003 Contessa

William, You may want to reset your thermostat. Turn it off then press and hold the mode and zone buttons together and turn back on. An FF should appear, this indicates the thermostat has been reset. Hope this helps, it did for me.

I did as you suggested and  when I relased the two buttons, FF turned to EE and there is no response to the mode button.
