Water Leak
George Harwell:
Had the same thing above the door. Removed the closeout strip and found the water was coming in on one screw so removed it, coated the head with clear silicone and put it back. No more leak.
Don and Kathy DuCharme:
We had a massive water leak above the door of our 07 Contessa. Water would pour in under the overhead dash cabinets on the passenger side and could hear water sloshing back and forth in the wall above the door. After many visits to the service center in Ind., finally persuaded them to remove the awning over the door and seal all openings. There is a hole in the wall for the wires which control the awning motor that was not sealed. They had to remove the door casing to remove the water from the wall. It has now been a year since the repair and all is well.
William Mathews:
Thanks for all the replies. I'm in the process of trying to find this leak by using some plastic (drop cloth) and tape to seal off likely areas of leaks. Right now the one touch awning, solar panel, and a/c are sealed off waiting for rain. Miss. gulf coast.

Joel Ashley:
Why wait for rain... just get up on the roof with a hose.
William Mathews:
Rain was forcast for the nite and next day after I sealed off the mentioned items. Also the water pressure here is very low resulting in very little volume. I have found other water leaks using this method and a water hose, but under different cicumstances.
