Mystery Switch in Right Wheel Well

On 2001 PT coach in the right wheel well on forward section of black plastic wheel cover there is a toggle switch.  Can anyone tell me what this switch does?  I have read documents I have and have not been able to find any mention of this switch. Assistance would be appreciated.

The factory never installed a switch in the wheel well that I know of. It was probably installed by a previous owner, and a switch like that is usually a by-pass for an alarm system, or something of that nature.
