Who Is The Shade Manufacturer
Tom Rogers:
Our 06 monterey's bedroom pull down shade needs a plastic part. The side cords are attached to a "dumbell" shaped part that is 5/8" dia x 1/2" wide. It's clear in color, the cord is threaded thru a hole and the "dumbell" is held into the side of the shade surround by a screw. Anyway, the "dumbell" split in half, now not being able to secure the end of the cord. I want to gat a hold of the mfg to get a replacement. Anyone know who the supplier would be? Thanks. Tom
John and Judy Gardner:
Might want to try Camping World, I recall seeing them there sometime ago.
Good Luck
Richard And Babs Ames:
Was in the Camping World at Lazy Days Sat and saw a "Shade Repair Kit" but did not notice what it contained besides the string.
The "dumbell shaped hook" would a metal S hook work as they come in many sizes and are available at most hardware stores.
Gerald Farris:
I would call Beaver Coach Sales Parts Department. If they do not have your part in stock, they will know where to get it, and they will be glad to tell you where that is.
Beaver Coach Sales is a very customer oriented company, and they will work with you to earn your respect, and therefore your business.

Joel Ashley:
Those doggone things break regularly, so expect to replace a few. Last time I was at BCS in Bend they gave me a handful of them. Seems like the last time I fixed one, I took a turn around the shaft to take the strain off the thread holes that usually are the weak point. But I dunno why one can't just tie the thread end to the screw.
