Sometimes we get lucky! Fuel Gauge Rewiring
« on: June 05, 2014, 06:42:48 PM »
I had the coach in for service recently and asked my shop to once again explore the fuel gauge that is pegged way over to the right. Last spring they got it working, but it went out again when we went to Texas in February. Instead of tracing the wires from the front of the coach, they just re-wired it last year. This time they found out the new wiring was getting scraped and pulled by the suspension moving up and down, and the wires were pulled apart. They re-wired it again and made sure it would never be moved by the suspension again. We having a fully functioning fuel gauge now! Woo hoo!!

That wasn't luck, Stan.  It took persistence on your part, and a better-engineered fix with hopefully an apology and no charge from your shop.
