Dash fans in 2006 Marquis
« on: December 11, 2014, 06:41:44 PM »
Both fans quit working. Can someone point me in the direction of a fuse. I have no power coming to the fans. I am having a problem tracing wires thru firewall. Thanks much

Bobby,
Since both fans have quit, I'd suspect a CB in the electrical bay coming off the ignition bus. If the 06 is wired like the 00, the passenger fan is slaved to the driver's fan and won't run unless the driver's fan is on.

Bobby, Monterey's aren't exactly Marquis, but in case it will help, on my '06 the overhead fan circuit breaker is number 31, which is the second one up from the bottom on the rightmost of the 3 breaker busses.

If that's the one, check for tight uncorroded connections and voltage on the right-side post indicating a good breaker.  Then I'd investigate the switch.
