Installing KONI FSR Shocks-YOURSELF
« on: April 29, 2010, 07:29:08 PM »
I purchased a set of four Koni FSR's for the front of our 05 Monterey and am going to install them myself tomorrow. Does anyone have hands-on experience with this installation? It appears to be straight forward but thought I would check with you experts just in case. Thanks in advance!

Can be done with a 1 1/8 inch box end wrench and a 1/2 inch ratchet with 1 1/8 socket. Better with 1/2 inch air impact wrench. Did all 8 of mine with impact and box end. Had the coach driven up on 2x12 boards stacked two high otherwise my belly would not make it. I also slid 4x6 blocks under frame sections because I'm into secruity blankets.
