Bose quit working?
« on: March 24, 2015, 10:29:32 PM »
I’m helping a friend with his ’04 Marquis. He has the Bose Lifestyle 38 (I believe) that came with his coach and the sound just quit. The speakers still work underneath for the TV in the storage bay, but the surround speakers inside do not. Is there a separate amp for this system like I have for my Bose lifestyle 20 that came in my ’00 PT? I did see something about a factory reset, but I haven’t tried that yet. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I’m about ready to pull it all out and take it to an electronic repair guy, but I want to make sure there isn’t something simple to check first…

Thanks,

Greg

Recommend that you send  your BOSE to the official Bose repair facility.  I have done that twice with two different Bose units.
They are the most knowledgeable and reputable repair service and I think their prices are reasonable.  I wouldn't trust just any electronics repair place for
Bose equipment...just my take.
