Fridge vent cover

I have a simple question that I should be able to do BUT.... have to get the outside vent/cover off the refigerator to find the serial number in case its a recall and the website said its a diferent one than the one inside the fridge and can't figure out how to get the cover off its an 06 Monterey. Saw a coach almost totally burned yesterday on I-4 in FL!  HELP :(!!

Carol,

There are 2 keepers along the bottom edge of the cover.  Twist them counter clockwise 1/4 turn to unlock.  Then just pull the cover out.  You may need to use a coin or such tool to turn the keepers.  To install, just replace the cover and turn the keepers 1/4 turn clockwise.

Carol, if it is the same as mine you will find 2 small plastic gadgets at the top of the panel. They are in recessed area 13 inches apart. Take a penny or screwdriver and turn until the slot is vertical. that unlocks the panel so it can be removed. Good luck!
