Hurricane furnace

My hurricane furnace runs fine when asked by the thermostat  but not when switched on by remote switch for hot water etc.

There's a separate aquastat that turns the Hurricane on to meet hot water demand.  It's possible yours has gone bad or maybe the wires are just disconnected.  Mine is mounted on a fitting up at the water heater output.
