« on: October 06, 2015, 11:54:17 PM »
Working on a 2001 Patriot Thunder, the 7500w generator is on the driver side
We have know response from the dash starter switch or the switch on the generator
While holding switch down there seems to be no power getting to either switch
Know flashing codes
Check both fuses under the rad cap plate there good and have 13v
Main power wire to the starter have 13v

Generator was starting good over the last 3 week
Looking for help thank you

Harry, If there is power to the main generator leads sounds like it could be the starter solenoid or a wire broke off. If you can get at it see if you can jump the solenoid. Usually they don't just all of a sudden stop working but one never knows.
See if the solenoid coil side is getting 12 volts when you hit the starter switch.
