Marquis Indirect Lighting??

A curiosity question.  What is used for the amber indirect lighting under the edges of the roof panel??

A corollary to that question is:  Has anyone had to repair/replace and, if so, how did you get at them and what was used for repair.

Thanks for any input.

I searched on "indirect lighting."  Isn't the indirect lighting a LED rope?  Apparently the ceiling panels are hinged on one side (probably street side) and bolted on the other side.  I have not worked on my indirect lights and will not until they need attention.  I use them almost every evening and leave the bathroom's indirect lighting on over most nights.  So far, no problems.

Dick,
The original indirect lighting is incandescent rope lights. I replaced mine with LED rope lights in the Marquis.

As with Steve I have done same with our rope lighting 3 years ago. Think I am going to change again to the new style LED flat strip lights as they seem to light much nicer.

The panels are screwed up to the ceiling. Screws are up under wood plugs which come out quite easily. No hinges in my unit which makes taking down a 2 person project but the old lights were getting in need of replacement due to deterioration just from being as old as they were and materials made of.
