Need shop near MS/LA border
« on: December 23, 2015, 04:51:49 PM »
We have a new Beaver owner (and potential new member) hung up near the Louisiana/ Mississippi border and need to find a good shop to do some repairs. They have a Hurricane system that seems not to run on electric and which leaks diesel fumes into the coach so badly that they cannot use it. If anyone knows of a good shop in the area please let me know. Also if anyone with a Hurricane system would be willing to talk with them please contact me (404-213-4671 or gdmorlan@gmail.com).

George,
This outfit gets very good reviews by customers on RVSERVICEREVIEWS.com. One review was for work on a Hydro Hot system so they probably are capable of addressing Hurricane systems too.

We had four pumps replaced on our still under warrantied Aqua-Hot 450D by Billy Thibodeaux this Fall. Very happy with his work!

George,
The Hurricane system is not equipped with an electrical heating element. You are always welcome to give my name and phone number to anyone that I can be of assistance to.

     Hi Guys,

Just got off the phone with Scott Harris the proud new owner of a '99 Patriot. He is getting a vapor odor from his hurricane that is somehow getting up into his coach. I inquired if his reservoir on the rear firewall was low on coolant and he said no. he was advised by ITR that his CO45 DRF has no serviceable parts and recommends an Oasis. He needs some feedback from you guys if that is a good move and worth the expense and does it do what the original system does. If you want to talk to him his phone number is 831-359-9323. Thanks in advance for the new Guy, Fred
