Engine Cover
« on: February 10, 2016, 06:14:04 PM »
I have insulation coming down inside my engine compartment.  I've seen a lot here about accessing the engine from in the coach.  I'm trying to figure out what the easiest way to replace the insulation and before I start prying with crow bars I figured I would ask if there is an easy and obvious, to an experienced mechanic (not me), way to remove the engine cover inside the MH?  Thank you as always.

On my 06 PT you can take apart the bedroom floor and a section out of the closet to get at the motor.

My 03 Monterey is the same as Lee's. Pull up the carpet in the closet and remove a few screws then just pull up the wood floor. Just in front of the closet on the passenger side I believe you remove 4 screws to pull up the floor of the bedroom.  You do not need to remove the carpet in the bedroom just feel for the screws.
