Moto Sat skew motor
« on: February 21, 2016, 03:57:03 PM »
My moto Sat HD-SL5 skew motor has died but I want to keep the system. Hopefully I can find the top half that contains the dish mount, lnb's with arms etc. I need everything above the rotating base except the dish itself. With some luck I can be back in commission in less than an hour. Looking for ideas from fellow Beavers.

George,
Don Marr in Eugene, Oregon (http://www.motosatparts.com/) has an extensive supply of used/new MotoSAT parts. He can probably help you out.

I removed my motosat from my 2006 Marquis and replaced it with a weingard hd dish.  My old unit is sitting in my garage in Michigan, and I am willing to sell the complete unit at a reasonable cost.  I am in Florida, but could probably arrange shipping.

Sorry, must of had a senior moment, the dish that I removed is not a Moto-Sat, but most likely a King Dome in motion which is a black dome about 3' diameter and about 10" high that was mounted on the roof.  It may have been original or added by the first owner.
