Aladdin Tank Displays XXXXXX
« on: May 11, 2016, 04:50:50 PM »
Just curious, as all of my indicators on the Aladdin display (Black, Grey, Fresh and Propane) are reading "XXXXXXX" . The reset switch does not correct the fault.  And the LED indicators in the water bay is showing all tanks at half full except the "fresh" which shows empty regardless of levels. Would you suspect a bad tank control module.... or.....?
All other Aladdin functions are fine. Just want to see if others have experienced this before I look for a replacement module.
Thanks,
Dwight

Dwight,
Try switching your main (chassis and coach) battery switches off for about 10 seconds and then back on.  Don't know if that will fix the problem but I've seen that problem posted here before.  If that doesn't work I'm sure someone knows what the fix is, I doubt you have a bad unit.

Thanks Bruce, I do switch off the disconnects to the batteries pretty regularly when it is parked. I have had this issue for about 6 months now.
