GERALD
While you are at the Redmond Rally could you check with the  PACBRAKE people and see if their has been any NEW developments about use of the new PRXB BRAKE for use with the CAT 425 with the DPF system?

Would be greatly appreciated if you can find the time.

I know we have had a discussion regarding this issue before, but just wanted to see if their was anything new.

Thanks,
Leah  :)

Leah,
I talked to the Pac Brake representative here a the FMCA rally, and he said that there was no exhaust brake on the drawing board or even in any stage of consideration at the Pac Brake home office for the DPF equipped C9 .

Pac Brake's viewpoint according to him is that it is too complicated to engineer around Cat's computer controlled regenerator, and the market is too small since Cat has quit the over the road market.
