We had quite a down pour last night. A steady but not overly active drip developed from the intake of the rear heat pump which was off. A few minutes ago I fired up the front heat pump to take the chill out of the air and water poured out of the intake for a minute or two. We get lots of rain here but this is the first that the front heat pump has leaked water. The rear has dripped before but not enough for me to worry about. Is there a drain or something else that I should check? I know that the units drain in AC mode to get rid of the condensation so I thought perhaps it might also be used to get rid of rain water.
