Speedometer Issues - 92 Marquis

When I purchased this RV last year the speedometer was not working.  Removed the unit and sent it off to have it checked.  It was definitely DOA.  Replaced the unit with a VDO Model 437-152B which is a newer model with the same functions.  Ever since the new speedometer was installed the needle wants to jump around at highway speed.  If I accelerate up to say 65 the needle bounces between around 50 and 70 making it impossible to figure out what your actual speed is.  Replaced the speed sensor this week thinking that might be the issue but the problem remains.  Anyone out there had a similar problem who can offer suggestions on what/how to troubleshoot this problem

Jack,
I have never run across that issue before. My suggestion would be to call Ken Carpenter at BCS (Beaver Coach Sales). Since he has been with Beaver since before your coach was built, he may have ran across your issue.
