Re-gluing windshield curtain
« on: October 03, 2016, 02:18:15 AM »
One by one the plastic pieces that hang off the front inside curtain rail are detaching from the curtain material (1996 Patriot).   They appear to have been glued on to the curtain.   Any recommendation on a good glue to reattach them ?

Thanks   Bob

E6000 industrial strength adhesive. it can be found at most hobby stores. glue it and clamp for a few hours.

Thank Roy.   I'll look into that.

What I have figured out after looking closely at things, originally the curtain was actually sown to the plastic pads which then clip on to the track sliders.  They cleverly integrated that into the hem stitching line along the whole top of the curtain.  Time and sun exposure caused the thread to break down but the thread is so fine it was almost invisible to see as it basically vaporized.
