Passenger Climate Control switch does nothing
« on: October 27, 2016, 11:29:17 PM »
I'd had an issue with my passenger climate control switch when I bought my coach and the fix was as easy as finding a disconnected wire on one of the two fan boxes in the brake/accelerator pedal area beneath the dash.  The problem has returned but now there is no disconnected wire.

Anyone have a method I should use to troubleshoot?  I see that one of my BLACK (hot or ground?) wires on the right fan is also connected to my tow system car brake indicator light that was wired to the dash (sits next to the vent below my radio on the dash).

Turns out that the answer to my issue is simply that when you engage the defroster setting (there are two defroster settings) on the main controller, the "passenger mode" is disabled so the light goes out.  Evidently I had selected defrost and thought there was a problem with the "passenger" because the light wasn't on.  Selecting any other position for air flow caused the light to come on for "passenger".

Just FYI,
