Windshield

We're in the Palm Springs area and later heading to the Phoenix area looking for recommendations on there to have windshield replaced.

Harry, if you happen to be a USAA member, they will bring the windshield replacement to you.  Had it done in south Texas several years ago.

We had a 98 Patriot.  Turned out that the windshield flange was cut too small at the factory.  Many Beavers hadthis problem.  The factory installed the windshield so that it would flex using little or no glue.  This ended up with leaks and windshields popping out or just cracking in the frame under stress.
We lost a windshield over winter just sitting on our pad.  There are no RV glass shops in our small town and an auto glass  shop offered us a 3K per side estimate.  RV glass solutions found a local mobile guy and made sure he was qualified.  He checked out the job and ordered the windshield from them.  It onlytook a couple days and he was back with new glass and gasket and glue and a really bad cold.  No he wouldnt go home because he promised to get her done.  He called RV Glass who walked hi  through it again and the install was flawless.  Never broke again and no wind noise.
I strongly reccommend RV Glass Solutions.
