Here's the website of the company who makes them.  I've dealt with them a few times and they have always been glad to help.  They trouble shoot on the phone also.

I just went through this with my black tank drain valve.  When I got the water bay entry cover up and out of the way I could see the manufacturer's label on the valves.  I called the manufacturer with the model number and coach information, and about four days later a new valve was delivered.  The firm is located at Hollister, CA.

Soon after I replaced the black tank drain valve, the gray tank valve started acting up.  So yesterday I received another valve standing by until I get home late next week when I will change it out.  These valves have an expected life of eight or so years.  I suggest if you think your valves are near eight or thereabouts years old, then change them both.  The hassle of going through that water bay entry cover is much more work than replacing the valves!  Assuming mine were original, they have lasted for thirteen years.  My model valves, including shipping, cost about $110 each.

My model:  5197-DM-10-MS   -  Drain Master Electric waste valve with magnetic indicator switch. Includes plugs for easy installation. Includes seals, nuts, bolts, lubricant and installation instructions.

Lyle,
If the motor runs but the valve does not move, the plastic motor mounting base in the actuator is warped. The actuator used in the 2000 Marquis is bad about this problem. You can take the actuator apart and shave off the bulge at the screws in the base so that the teeth on the motor contacts the gear that is hooked to the valve to restore function. Using washers under the screw heads to spread the load will prevent a reoccurrence of the problem.

The motor is running...only because it was stuck about half way up...I pulled panel loose and was able to grab the moving part to help move to full open.  Repeated open and close with same resistance.
Seems that it is warped.  I will try the "fix" first as there are no parts available around here and if need be, will order out new ones for next week home project...

On another note...the delamination problem encountered is fixed and is holding well...
A BIG THANK YOU to all your help.  This Beaver adventure would not be as fun and exciting without this forum!

Update... Disconnected the motor from the valve...by hand, I can run the valve open and shut fairly easy...my have a motor problem...buttoned it back up and (through the opening behind the towel holder) I can reach the valve...good enough until I reach the ranch...
Thanks again...

If the drain valve is working properly, then its motor should "buzz" for about 1 1/2 seconds from full open to full closed, and vice versa.  My new valve makes a very noticeable buzz.  My older, perhaps original to the coach, motor does not make nearly as loud a buzz.  But if I keep putting a little vegetable oil down the bathroom sink, then it seems to work much better.  I am nursing it along until I get home where I can take all the time I want to change it.

Joel,
I pulled both Drainmaster electric valves out of my 06 PT last year, went to basic T handle gate valves. I had replace both DM valves once already and at $150 each was not going to do it again. The problem with my coach is that the stupid folks at Monaco decided to install the valves flat/horz, now all over the Drainmaster installation spec's it states not to install them this way as the top works of the valves will get filled up with gunk. One good thing is both valves are right in the open behind the big basement door on the pass side. The manual valves don't fail. Not Drainmaster's fault that Monaco couldn't figure out how to properly install a simple valve.
