Roof AC interconnection wiring
« on: July 20, 2017, 09:36:36 PM »
Our '05 Patriot has two roof AC/ heat pumps, each controlled by a 5 button thermostat, and each control aqua hot zones. Is there any reason to suspect that the two roof AC control boxes are interconnected in any way? A phone call to Dometic makes me think they are not, as the gal there (very sharp tech!) said each AC is controlled by its own t-stat. I think that is the way ours worked, but, as our Beavers are loaded up with goodies like multi-zone AH and auto gen start and load shedding, I was wondering if the AC's were interconnected. Our rear AC Failed and PASTNTS is at the shop having the rear AC replaced. I also replaced the 5-button t-stat for the new rear AC with the CCC2 10-button t-stat.
