Wiper Arm Brand
« on: August 07, 2017, 06:16:50 PM »
Does anyone know the manufacturer of the wiper arm on an 08 Patriot?  I'm in Canada and would like to be able to pickup a new one at a local NAPA.  Thanks

For awhile I guess Monaco departed from the prior Beaver wiper arm supplier, opting for a less expensive mfr., then after poor results returned to AM Equipment out of Jefferson, Oregon.  You might contact them for help determining your arm I.D.   http://store.amequipment.com/windshield-wiper-arms-c-3.html

Also consider calling BCS parts.

AM doesn't list a phone no. for some reason, but they sent me this:  541-327-1546 ask for Butch.

Norm,
Suggest you call Monaco or BCS for info. My 07 has a (IMHO) lousy arm mount that depends on torquing the arm nut to get the copper sleeve in the arm to bite into the shallow splines on the drive shaft. Someone on the Forum recently came up with use of a star washer as a method of ensuring the arm didn't move except in sync with the shaft so maybe that is a solution if / once it strips.
