No power BIRD ignition input.

I'm installing Cat prime pump 206-5657 on my 09 Beaver Contessa 41'. All is going well, except no switched power at BIRD ignition input, I'm unable to find fuse or cause. I would welcome help or info to solve this problem. I would also like to find schematics for my rig. Regards George.

If the coach won't start and you have no ignition power, check F44 in the front elec bay. It's not clear to me from your posts if this is the case or if the coach starts, etc. but you can't locate 12v ign power on the BIRD.

Can't find 12 v at BIRD input with ion in on position, engine starts, or it did before I started job I'm working on.

Suggest you use a pin to pierce insulation on wire 233 and hook volt meter+ to it. If engine starts, you almost have to have 12v on 233 going to BIRD. (Also, verify you have a good ground for meter by measuring 12v at a battery connection.

with the ignition in on position.  I have checked for power 12v at the spade connector going to the BIRD, There are 2 conductors crimped to one female spade connector. This goes on the BIRD ignition post. I can not get 12v there when the key is in the on position or any other time.

This assumes your coach is wired same as an 08.
Fuse F14 in the Front electrical bay is probably the culprit (5A). It is labeled "Rear DC Box Ign". The dwgs to find this on are in the Coach Assist Tech library.
Access is Private BAC Members Only>Coach Assist and click on hyperlink in post> Contessa Wiring Diagrams>07-08 Contessa Dwgs. Dwg# 38081087A shows the wiring from the Ign terminal on the Battery Disconnect ECU (BIRD) to F14 in the Front Cab Elec PCB. Wire is VC05. (This or the other wire from Ign is the one you want to splice into once you get 12v back).
If your wiring is different, contact Monaco tech support and request equivalent wiring for your coach. Be sure it includes the Fuse ID for the front elect bay as this is very handy.
