Lost DIRECTV signal
« on: September 08, 2017, 11:43:21 PM »
Trying to get under way yesterday the drivers side shade would no go up. I found a nest of wire behind drivers side upper cabinet. I think I need to get to the back of the front tv. How do I get it out?

Dale,
Can you access the needed connections by removing the metal panel on the back side of the cabinet?

No. I have taken out all the screws I see in the drivers side cabinet. The inside is wood and won't come loose. This is the biggest rats nest of wire I have ever seen.

Dale,
Not clear what problem you are trying to solve. Shades are self contained units mounted by 2 screws on each end.  Wiring appears to run from each shade to switches in driver's console. if you are looking for a fuse, it should be 85 in the front electrical bay.
If it is a TV wiring problem, you can access the TV wiring on the back of the TV by removing the panel at the back of the TV cabinet.  See pics.

In searching for the shade wire I must have pulled loose the cable that goes from the receiver to the tv. Your picture does not look like my coach. I do not see a vent like that.
Rained in today and have time to work on it.
