I did get the panel off Karl, just a few sheet metal screws and it came off pretty easy. That's where the fun stopped, I still couldn't get a good angle to get any torque or tool on the connector. I think I would have to jack the coach up or put it on a lift to be able to get at the connection and since I'm not going there I'll just add it to my list for my next visit to the repair shop.
Stan, I've included a couple of pictures, hopefully they give you some perspective of how the panel is installed and one picture shows the rear panel removed.
