Drivers side sun visor

2007 Contessa. Visor won't go up or down. Tried to get to the switch but can't get through the mess of wires. Looked fora fuse, no luck. Thinking of pulling the visor. Anyone know where to buy a replacement?

Dale,
It is a waste of your time and money, trying to find a replacement visor if you do not know why yours is not working. Always check out the entire electrical circuit for power and ground before you start throwing parts at any electrical problem. More often than not, you will be replacing perfectly good parts for no reason.

Dale,
On the 2006 Monterey, the power for the visors comes from CB27. The Drivers side visor up and down is controlled directly through the switch next to the driver. If it does not work then you must check if power is getting to the driver visor motor. It is easy to remove the visor and check voltage to the wires. The passenger visor uses two (2) relays to control it because there are two (2) switches, one by the driver and the other by the passenger seat. Relay K10 is the passenger visor UP relay and K11 is the passenger visor Down relay.

The references provided are for a 2006 Monterey but the logic and troubleshooting will be the same. I would suspect a loose or broken connection at the motor.

The 07 Contessa has the multiplex electrical system. F85 in the front elec bay is the fuse but it controls power to both visors so if the pass side works, the fuse is OK. Relays R27 and 28 control the visors but dwg appears to have one of them mis-labeled so I'd try switching them and seeing if the problem switches to the other visor. If not, switch would be next candidate.

If I can identify the wires going to the visor I can check for power. Now that I have been informed of which fuse and its functions I can at least x that out. Thanks to all.
