Bedroom TV cabinet
« on: October 03, 2017, 06:38:41 PM »
Like many others we removed the original Sony TV from the bedroom cabinet. Unlike most others we are not putting in a new TV. We never watch TV in the bedroom and seldom in the living room except for the news. We want to put matching walnut doors on the TV cabinet to conciel the new storage space but the walnut that grows in southeastern Minnesota doesn't match the existing walnut. The heartwood walnut here is much darker and finer grained. I am guessing that the existing walnut was sourced from the northwest where the motorhome was built. Any suggestions as to where I could order some matching walnut from? I have the tools to build the doors if I can find some matching wood. Since it is not urgent I may have to wait to find a supplier when we visit Washington and Oregon next fall.

Thanks for any help, Sam
