Setting coach tank calibration
« on: November 29, 2017, 07:12:34 PM »
Would appreciate any information on setting coach tank levels and tank calibration. When I attempt to reset levels the entered amounts keep flashing as if the tank level interface isn't responding.

Aladdin or Silverleaf?  We/I don't know your coach's year and model.

So sorry newbie mistake.  It's an Aladdin system on a 2003 Patriot Thunder Lexington.

There is a procedure in the Aladdin manual. Basically, you have to set zero and span (tank empty, tank full). At empty, the sensor give a 5 digit # that you write down, then you fill the tank and write down that #. You go into Aladdin setup (need a code, its in the manual) and enter the values you have written down. I've got the manual here somewhere, I'll look for it and post it if I can find it.

Michael, in the Private Members Only section (scroll to Coach Assist) off the Home page here on the Forum you'll find links to a lot of useful documents, including Alladin items.

Thanks for the info, last May BCS installed new sesensirs for the previous owners , so overwhelmed that I can’t honestly remember if they were working then. I know power / batteries were disconnected during some repair work but all other functions of the system are operating, so could that have cleared calibration? Do only service techs have the code?
Thanks

I was wrong. The code is 1218. I have the calibration instructions. Let me know if you want me to scan them and email them to you. They are somewhat confusing to a new user. Bill Sprague walked me through mine when I did it.

Michael, it is indeed 1218.  But go to pg. 18 or 19 of the Aladdin troubleshooting guide in the Coach Assist section for guidance.
