Should you hear vacum sound or sucking sound when you remove the fuel cap. Also does the venting valve have a check valve in it on top of the tank?

Forrest, the noise you hear is your fuel tank vent is plugged. Your engine will start slowing
like you have a dirty fuel filter, than engine will stop. Let set for few minutes will start right
and you will go again for about 10 miles than same will happen again. Many will think let’s
Put new fuel filter wrong idea . Remember low power and engine shut down all connected to
plugged fuel tank vent.
tank vent, plugged vent ( mud Dobbers build there nest in your vent line ) kinked or bent
