Our generator requires multiple attempts to start, minimal or no load. Flashes twice on failure to continue running. If I continue to try restarting allowing several minutes between attempts, the engine will eventually start and stay running. Will continue to run until I shut it down.
I called Cummins and was told it was probably the oil pressure sensor, however they were unwilling to provide a part number, just suggested I bring it in to a dealer. I believe it is located adjacent to the oil filter, but would like confirmation and a part number. It cannot be that hard to replace. Thanks in advance for any help.
