Toyos were the best value when we got ours, even considering any Michelin FMCA program.  The quality seems to be as good as any brand out there.  Les Schwab/Bob Dickman in Junction City, OR, is arguably the provider of choice due to their lengthy experience with motorhome installations and their proximity to the old Monaco and Country Coach factories, and Guaranty RV.

We have one Michelin and five Toyos, all 295/80R22.5, on the duals and tags, and two Dunlops, 315/80R22.5, on the steering axle.  We have had no problems with any of these tires.  All the rims are 9" so we get full maximum load weight of the tires.  We use the Pressure Pro TPMS on twelve tires, including the tow vehicle, because it was on the coach at the time of purchase.  We live in Eastern Oregon and got our tires locally, so we have no knowledge of tire retailers in Florida.

There is a dealer over near Mims about 5 miles west of US 1 on State Rd 46. I don't remember his name but I found his phone # 321-427-3745. He is on the N side of the road and has a big old truck tire out front. Several people in our park have bought tires there.

I have a neighbor over in Mims  at Willow Lakes Resort where we winter and he is VERY particular about his coach and he bought tires there and had them balanced as well. He said the guy was very good at what he did and had good prices as well.

He bought Toyos for steer and Sumitomo on the rear and tag.

Let me know if you use him as I am due next fall to start looking for tires as mine are Goodyear G-670 and they are 5 1/2 yrs old now.I was going to visit him when we get back to Florida next October.

Dan, thank you I'll look him up.  I'm only about 20 west of there and it would be nice to not have to drive a couple hours just to find something for the RV.

Jerry,
I've had Michelins, Goodyears and currently run Toyos (M144 / 295s). The Michelins gave the best ride. The  GY are garbage IMHO. They cup very easily and one steer tire exploded on me in Oct. The Toyos give a bit of a stiffer ride but handle very well. For the $ difference, they suit me fine. Other members have also spoken highly of Hankook. I've got a set of ATs on my pu and love the steering/handling performance and ride. Of course I could be comparing apples and oranges...

Thanks Steve, I have Hancooks now and like them but they seem hard to find.  It may just be my lack of research skills but I spent about 2 hours today just trying to find a place to get them in our size.  I like them so much that I bought a set for my wife's car a couple years ago.  They are my preference followed by the Toyos.

Our coach came with brand new Yokohama ZR 104s, 295/80/R22.5, 6 years ago. Just had the same tires put on by a local dealer. No issues in 6 years, knock wood, hope the next 6-7 yrs are the same. They were $3657 for 6, out the door, about $200 more than Toyos. I traded the old ones to the concrete/asphalt guy who put in our concrete pad next to the house, and the asphalt widening of the driveway. He plans to use them on his dump truck tag. For the tires, I got a re-sealing of my driveway this fall after we leave for California. Retail value, $475.00.

Good referral Dan!  Alex of Southmere Tire operates out of his own place behind his home in Mims.  The phone number is correct.  Good guy, easy to get along with and appeared to do good work.  Only downside is he charges 3% if you pay with a credit card.  I would use him again.  Thanks again.
