Aqua Hot

We replaced the Hydro Hot on our '05 Monterey with a 400D Aqua Hot (love extended warranties). On electric it run fine. If we leave it on diesel it turns off after 5-6 hours (lighted switch under sink). Is this normal?

No.

What if any fault lamps show up on the control box in the AquaHot bay?  If dry camping, just as a for instance, the low voltage cutout may kick in if the house batteries draw down enough while some other device turns on.
