Black/gray tank sensor questions
« on: June 26, 2018, 05:40:16 PM »
Hi folks!
Just realized my black tank sensor is ‘sympathetic’ with my gray tank sensor. That is, black was showing 2/3 full and gray was well above 2/3 with ‘full’ light fluttering.  I emptied my gray (into blue boy) and my black display dropped to 1/3 (which is where I expected it should be). Anyone know why and what a fix might be?

Also, the tank ends and sensors for both these tanks and related wiring is all behind the big stainless steel back-panel in my wet bay. I unscrewed the panel in hopes of directly accessing the sensors and found the panel seems too big to fit through the basement door frame.  Is there a trick to getting it out or will I have to cut it to get at my sensors?

Thanks for any light you can shed.

On my 2000 Patriot Thunder, the sensors are on the opposite side as the manifold bay. There is a carpeted panel that allows access. It's probably different, but maybe it will help.

Will,
The tank sensors are independent between tanks so I would look at the Aladdin hook up rather than the sensors themselves. You may be able to access the tanks from behind via the water pump access panel on the rear side of the bay just forward of the propane tank bay.
