Every minute or so, the waterpump activates for a second or two.  No taps are open.  What might cause this?  Not helpful when trying to sleep  :-X

You probably have a leak somewhere - perhaps a pinhole leak in a hose; perhaps a dripping faucet, shower or toilet; perhaps the water pump's backflow valve is not closing;...

We have had a split hose at the back of the fridge going to the ice maker and a dripping valve in the water manifold.  There should be some wet spots on the floor somewhere... unless it's the water pump's backflow valve.

Thanks, David.  Found the source at the back of the refrigerator as evidenced by drips at the exterior access panel. I’ll deal with when we get home at the end of the week.
