Bedroom TV update

Jerry Carr:
Here are photos of a TV change in our '06 Patriot Bedroom. We have added the Viso WiFi LED LCD 1080 Resolution Set. The new system is a wireless wifi and as long as you have a park with good band-width it works very well and the HD is wonderful.
The set was installed by cutting 1/3" of wood off the left side of the cabinet and installed with a french cleat; the job took about 2 hours and cost was less the $25.00 plus the set.
If you need to run the set with the computer use a RGB set up this will provide sound and picture. This set will of course run on Sat or cable/antenna.

George Harwell:

Good job Jerry, looks great. Sometimes it's good to be innovative. Enjoy!

Jerry Carr:
Thanks George, Like I said it really was not that big of a job, the cool thing is we get netflicks as long as we a near a Wifi.

Brad Burgess:
Hello Jerry

What is a french cleat?

Hello Brand,

One quick and easy way to mount a cabinet onto a wall is through the use of a wedge bracket called a French cleat. This will give you a very neat flush mounting. you just need a saw table or skill will work, 3/4" wood Pine is EZ to cut and cheap but any wood will do even an old 2x4,

I used this system to hold the top of the set in, then added a dowel pin that would hold the bottom you need to push up the TV about 1/4" to remove it. You could also just hang the set with this system but l like the idea of keeping the set tight.  Here are two photos to give you an idea.
