Electric door lock

I have a question for any of you that might know someting about a electric door lock on a 04 Monterey.
I had the door partialy pulled apart to lube the door operating mechanism. I was supprised to find an electric solenoid attached to the door lock mechanism. It is wired to the front leading edge of the door and mates up to 2 spring loaded contact points mounted in the door frame. I do not know what would operate this solenoid and could not find anything in the wiring prints to indicate what would operate the door lock. Has anyone had anything to do with these door locks.

If your coach does not have a numerical key pad outside by the front door, it was equipped with a keyless entry system. I do not know if the remote transmitter is still available for that model, or how to program it, but the Service Department at Beaver Coach Sales in Bend should be able to help you.
