I agree!

I sent my Oil sample to be checked by the Cat lab, it came back with normal wear for a 50k Motor.

I change my oil yearly and will be testing at the same time.

The test kit was about $12.00, includes a test bottle, sample hose, pre-paid shipping envelope, contact page, and a full description form.

You send an email to the lab to register the test request, send your sample and they had an answer back in about 5 days.

Great service.

I had a Cummins.  Toward the end of our ownership I was using Blackstone Labs. ( https://www.blackstone-labs.com/ ).  I was doing both the engine oil and transmission fluid.   My fear with the transmission was that, at some point, it would get some coolant in it via the cooler.  The transmission fluid analysis ended up doing me more good than the engine oil analysis because it gave me reason to extend the change interval for the Transynd.
